The University of Florida Center for Precollegiate Education and Training is proud to host Gator Jumpstart. This an engaging, hands-on residential program to enrich and prepare high school students entering Biology I in the fall to get a ‘jump’ on the Biology I state standards.
Students will work with university scientists, visit research sites, participate in small group discussions, and social activities. Gator Jumpstart Biology will be held on the University of Florida campus. Students will stay in dorms on UF’s campus.

Scholarships are available for students who attend Alachua County Public School District with financial need.
