The 2011 Mini Medical School at the University of Florida will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 9:00am-4:00pm. This one-day in-service is an opportunity for middle and high school teachers to experience some of the many facets of the University of Florida College of Medicine. The program combines visits to clinical and research laboratories, brief lectures, networking with peers, exchange of best teaching practices, and career panel discussions.
This year’s program will focus on regenerative medicine as we highlight some of the breakthrough advances in research and clinical practice. Numerous faculty and clinicians housed in the UF Health Science Center and Shands at UF will participate in this exciting event. We invite you to join us for an exciting professional development opportunity, where health care professionals and teachers share knowledge and insight to better educate the scientists and health care leaders of tomorrow.
