STEM Research Poster Competition
The STEM Research Poster Competition recognizes outstanding scientific research by 11th and 12th grade students.
Up to 20 students will be invited to compete in the Poster Competition at the 2018 Florida Regional Junior Science, Engineering, and Humanities Symposium. Invited students present their research in poster format to expert judges. Students who have conducted a research project, written an abstract, and demonstrated outstanding presentation skills are encouraged to apply. Applications are now being accepted and are due December 1, 2017.
The Poster Competition winner will receive a sponsored trip to the National Junior Science and Humanities Symposium to be held April 26-29, 2017 in San Diego, California. Along with the Speaker Competition Third and Fourth Place winners, the Poster Competition winner will represent Florida at the national poster competition for cash and prize awards. Please note: Students must be a citizen or permanent resident to the US or US territory to be eligible for these government-sponsored awards, travel, and National Competition.

The On-line Application Submission requests the exact same information as the Application Form. Students are encouraged to gather all the information requested on the Application Form and have his or her abstract and research a paper saved in PDF format ready to upload before starting the on-line form. The on-line form will not save partial progress. The on-line submission deadline is December 1, 2017 by 5:00 pm.
Students selected to compete will be notified by December 11, 2017 by email.
