Student Programs

Explorations in Biomedical Research – for current 10th and 11th graders

We are no longer accepting applications for this summer.  

Program Dates: July 16 – 28

Cost: $1000 for commuters (includes parking permit and lunch); $2000 for residential (includes housing and meals)

 

Florida Youth Institute – for current 10th and 11th graders

Program Dates: July 9 – 14 OR July 16-21

Cost: $350

Humanities and the Sunshine State: Florida Water Stories – for current 10th and 11th graders

We are no longer accepting applications for this summer.

Program Dates: June 11 – 17

Cost: $350

 

Research in Environmental Toxicology – for current 10th and 11th graders

We are no longer accepting applications for this summer.  

Program Dates: July 16 – 28

Science Quest – for current 9th graders

We are no longer accepting applications for this summer.

Program Dates: Session 1 – Biological Sciences – June 25-30

 Session 2 – Physical Sciences – July 9-14

Cost: $850

 

Student Science Training Program – for current 11th graders

Applications must be received IN FULL no later than Monday, April 3rd to be considered in the final round of review.  Please do not submit application materials after this date. Applications are now closed to out of state students.  Tuesday, April 4th Update:  Applications are closed.  Application materials received via email or hard copy will no longer be considered.

Program Dates: June 11 – July 29

Cost: $4500

Gator Computing Program  – for current 9th and 10th graders

We are no longer accepting applications for this summer.

Program Dates: June 5 – June 16

Cost: $100

Teacher Programs

CATALySES: Emerging Pathogens – for current high school science teachers (9th-12th grades)

We are no longer accepting applications for this summer.  

Program Dates: June 18 – 30

Cost: There is no cost to attend this program.  Those who successfully complete the program requirements will receive a stipend.

Humanities and the Sunshine State: Teaching Florida’s Climate – for all formal and informal educators

We are no longer accepting applications for this summer.  

Program Dates: June 19 – 23

Cost: There is a $100 fee to attend this program. Room and most meals are provided.
