Duke Talent Identification Program (TIP): 1991-2012
The Duke Talent Identification Program recognizes academically talented students from throughout Florida. Students in the 4th or 5th grade and the 7th grade, who have performed at outstanding levels on standardized scholastic achievement tests are invited to the Recognition Ceremony.
For over 20 years, the University of Florida hosted a Recognition Ceremony at which students were individually recognized for their achievement. Additionally, students and invited family members were greeted by UF administrators and distinguished faculty. UF academic scholarships were awarded to five students. The scholarship allowed each to take a class at UF during his or her high school years.
A Duke TIP Recognition Ceremony will not be held at the University of Florida in 2015. Please refer to the Duke TIP website for information on participating in the program and locating a Recognition Ceremony near you: http://www.tip.duke.edu
