Student Science Training Program (SSTP)
SSTP 2002
There were 93 participants in the 44th Annual UF-SSTP, representing 23 counties and 48 schools throughout Florida. In addition, our program participants included four students from out-of-state, and two international students.
These gifted and high-achieving students took part in on-going research, a lecture series, field trips, evening study groups and seminars, and social activities during their seven-week stay at the University of Florida. More than 125 professors, university staff and administrators, and members of the Gainesville community volunteered their time to contribute in a variety of meaningful ways to this prestigious program, thus ensuring its success.
