Student Science Training Program (SSTP)
SSTP 2001
In the 43rd Annual University of Florida Student Science Training Program, there were 85 participants representing 28 counties and 52 schools throughout Florida. In addition, this years program included five students from out-of-state, and two international students, one from Taiwan, and the other from Japan.
These gifted and high-achieving students took part in on-going research, a lecture series, field trips, evening study groups and seminars, and social activities during their seven-week stay at the University of Florida.
More than 125 professors, university staff and administrators, and members of the Gainesville community volunteered their time to contribute in a variety of meaningful ways to ensure the programs success.
