SSTP 1998 - Field Trips
St. Augustine Field Trip - Saturday June 20, 1998
Students toured the historic city of St. Augustine. They walked on the streets of old town and the grounds of Fort Castillo de San Marcos, all the while getting a taste of the colonial life. They spent the rest of the day touring Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum, Washington Oaks State Park, the Whitney Laboratory, and the beaches of the Anastasia State Park.

Ichetucknee Springs Field Trip - Saturday June 27, 1998
During a hot summer day, students inner-tubed down the crystal clear waters of the Ichetucknee River. While drifting along, they were exposed to various forms of unique and scarce plant life.
Walt Disney Field Trip - Saturday July 11, 1998
Students enjoyed themselves on the numerous rides and attractions at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, as a reward for outstanding work on their mid-term orals.

Busch Gardens Field Trip - Saturday July 18, 1998
The students participated in the physics and physical sciences workshop while visiting the Busch Gardens theme park in Tampa.
